An hour after giving "Boog" Nexgard he started vomiting. He should have had a long healthy happy life with me and my family, instead he is now gone!!! Rest in peace my baby Boog!! Side effects Nexgard My 13 week old puppy Boog passed away the Sunday before last. He went to the vet healthy and happy Wednesday for a check up and shots. The vet and everyone who met him, fell in love just like our family did. While at the vet I asked about flea medication as he definitely had them and I wanted to make sure he didn't become infested. The vet gave him Nexgard. I asked about possible side effects and was told that Nexgard was great and had little to no adverse effects. The vet was WRONG!!! Vomiting and lethargic An hour after giving Boog Nexgard he started vomiting. I called the vet and they told me to give him Benadryl. The next morning he was lethargic, wouldn't eat and still vomiting. I called the vet and they gave him anti nausea medication. That medication did help with vomiting, although he started having diarrhea. I took Boog to the vet for treatment. After 36 hours in vet care my baby boy passed away. My family is devastated and want everybody to know that nexgard is not a good medication!! This flea medication killed my dog. He should have had a long healthy happy life with me and my family instead he is now gone!!! Rest in peace my baby Boog!!
